Superstate’s novel process for producing Green Ammonia from solar power was presented as one of four innovative energy solutions for the future by Dagens Nyheter, Sweden’s most widely distributed and prestigious daily newspaper.
By producing Green Ammonia from solar power, the energy can be stored for long periods of time and be used when needed as fuel for transportation and machinery or for producing fertilizers. Compared to storing solar power in Hydrogen, Ammonia has higher volumetric energy density and is easier to store and transport.
Superstate filed a Patent for the process to the Swedish Patent and Registration Office in February 2023.
